HaHa Community Guide - Roles and Karma

Guide on how HaHa's karma and role leveling system works.
Ghaha đź’ś
If you're new to Monad or HaHa, then there's just 1 thing you should know.
Community is everything.
As discussed during previous AMAs/Campfires on the HaHa Discord, we have revamped our karma leveling system and clarified our new Community Role Hierarchy.
While karma balance plays an important role, we need to emphasize:
Roles>Karma
This is to ensure that genuine users and community members are prioritized ahead of those who seek to abuse our systems, farm Karma, farm Monad, and leave.
HaHa is building a community for the long haul - not just a Bull Market.
Unique about this Hierarchy is that users can now progress into their desired field without any detriment because let’s face it - Not everybody’s an artist, so why not allow members with different skillsets to flourish?
We acknowledge that not everybody wants to grind for a role. We also know you are probably in 20+ different Discord communities.
In an effort to help address this, we want to try to take away the “grind” feeling. Simply be yourself and play to your strengths - whether that’s moderating, gaming, creating artwork, yapping, writing threads, producing videos or everything in between!
Through HaHa, you get exposure to all the rewards of the Major Projects in the Monad Ecosystem - we'll endeavor to make it worth your while here in the HaHa Community.
Here is a summary of changes:
Lv.0 Bankrupt: 0 karma
Lv.1 NGMI: 70 karma
Lv.2 Noob: 300 karma
Lv.3 Peasant: 600 karma
Lv.4 Fast food worker: 1,000 karma
Lv.5 Dishwasher: 2,000 karma
Lv.6 HR: 5,000 karma (previously 2,500)
Lv.7 Engineer: 15,000 karma (previously 5,000)
Lv.8 Lawyer: 30,000 karma (previously 12,000)
Lv.9 Doctor: 50,000 karma (previously 36,000)
Lv.10 Unemployed: 100,000 karma
We've made levels 6-9 more challenging to smooth out the progression system and make them more rare. However, those who have already obtained their current roles need not worry - you will be grandfathered in and retain your existing level.
Karma Actions Awarded
Daily Check In: 10 (Unchanged)
Social Multiplier: 2x (Unchanged)
Discord Invites (PERMANENTLY RETIRED)
App Referral (not subject to 2x multiplier): 50 (previously 5). Friend must reach level 2 (previously level 1). There is now a daily limit of 1,000 karma per day.
Use your wallet (up to 10x a day): 10 (previously 2) -> user can earn 100 per day.
Yapping: 10 per hour (previously 60 (1 per minute)). Cap: 60 per day (previously 500)
Karma earned from Discord invites are gone for the foreseeable future. This is due to a technical limitation - the Discord platform limits each server to a maximum of 1,000 active invites to any given time.
Activities Exempt from Daily Limits and Karma Multiplier
- Winning Contests
- Admin-Awarded Karma (eg Reporting spam, phishing links, providing good feedback or identifying bugs, etc)
How the Roles Work
Starting from Graduate, users can then choose which “path” they’d like to level up to. Before becoming a member of HaHa’s Community Team (pinnacle role), members can join HaHa’s in-demand Art Team, become an Official Ambassador (Joker role), or even obtain the Nadlord role. The latter is one of the rarest roles in the server with only 199 spots available.

For auxiliary roles such as “AMA Zealot,” “Beta Testoor,” and all the rest, these will play a part in determining rewards when HaHa hits Monad Mainnet. (if you know you know). More auxiliary roles are added over time subject to community growth and demand.

TLDR; There are multiple ways to earn roles and karma, and both will play a part in determining rewards once Monad Mainnet hits. .
